To expand the range of the distance of an underwater mobile body from the sea bottom, which can measure a ground velocity of the underwater mobile body.SOLUTION: A sound source device 3 is installed on the sea bottom 2. The sound source device 3 includes a function for transmitting an acoustic signal 7 obtained by connecting a waveform with only one peak existing in autocorrelation in a set time interval a plurality of times. The underwater mobile body 4 includes a wave receiving array 5 and an arithmetic unit 6. In the arithmetic unit 6, a first detection unit 10 acquires a signal arrival direction D in which the acoustic signal 7 arrives on the basis of information of the acoustic signal 7 received by the wave receiving array 5, and a second detection unit 11 acquires a velocity v related to the signal arrival direction D of the underwater mobile body 4 by using a Doppler effect. After that, a velocity measurement unit 12 acquires a ground velocity V of the underwater mobile body 4 in a movement direction Dv by using the fact that the acquired velocity v is a vector obtained by orthogonally projecting a velocity vector of the ground velocity V related to the movement direction Dv of the underwater mobile body 4 in the signal arrival direction D.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 水中移動体の対地速度の計測が可能となる水中移動体の海底からの距離の範囲の拡大化を図る。【解決手段】 海底2に音源装置3を設置する。音源装置3は、自己相関に1つのみピークが存在する波形を、設定された時間間隔で複数回連ねた音響信号7を送信する機能を備える。水中移動体4は、受波アレイ5と演算装置6を備える。演算装置6は、第1の検出部10で、受波アレイ5で受信された音響信号7の情報を基に、音響信号7が到来する信号到来方向Dを求め、第2の検出部11では、ドップラー効果を利用して、水中移動体4の信号到来方向Dに関する速度vを求める。その後、速度計測部12では、求められた速度vが、水中移動体4の移動方向Dvに関する対地速度Vの速度ベクトルを、信号到来方向Dに正射影したベクトルであることを利用して、水中移動体4の移動方向Dvの対地速度Vを求める。【選択図】図1
