To perform satellite positioning capable of securing requested positioning performance.SOLUTION: Electronic equipment 1 comprises a GPS unit 16, a GPS information acquisition unit 51, a sensor information acquisition unit 52, and a reception condition determination unit 54. The GSP unit 16 receives a radio wave from a positioning satellite. The GPS information acquisition unit 51 acquires ephemeris information by the GPS unit 16, and acquires satellite arrangement information of each of a plurality of positioning satellites which acquired the ephemeris information. The sensor information acquisition unit 52 acquires location condition information of a current place in which the electronic equipment 1 exists. The reception condition determination unit 54 identifies the number of positioning satellites which can be captured in the current place among the plurality of positioning satellites which has acquired the ephemeris information on the basis of the location condition information of the current place and the satellite arrangement information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
