To provide a tire simulation method, a device therefore, and a program which can set an appropriate penetration quantity at a contact time and obtain a highly reliable calculation result.SOLUTION: Provided is a tire simulation method executed by a computer-based numerical analysis, comprising: a tire model creation step for creating a tire model capable of numerical analysis by a computer with regard to tires; a road surface model creation step for creating a road surface model capable of numerical analysis by the computer with regard to road surfaces with which tires come into contact; a contact analysis step for carrying out the contact analysis for the tire model and road surface model by the computer and obtaining a penalty rigidity value in a prescribed penetration quantity; and a rolling motion analysis step for carrying out the rolling motion analysis for the tire model and road surface model by the computer using the penalty rigidity value obtained in the contact analysis step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】接触時における適切な貫入量を設定し、信頼性の高い計算結果を得られるタイヤのシミュレーション方法、その装置およびプログラムを提供する。【解決手段】コンピュータによる数値解析により実行されるタイヤのシミュレーション方法であって、タイヤについて、コンピュータで数値解析可能なタイヤモデルを作成するタイヤモデル作成工程と、タイヤが接触する路面について、コンピュータで数値解析可能な路面モデルを作成する路面モデル作成工程と、コンピュータにより、タイヤモデルと路面モデルとの接触解析を実施し、所定の貫入量におけるペナルティ剛性値を得る接触解析工程と、コンピュータにより、接触解析工程で得られたペナルティ剛性値を用いてタイヤモデルと路面モデルとの転動解析を実施する転動解析工程とを有する。【選択図】図4
