To precisely form a finished resin coating layer by making an outer shaft and an inner shaft of a spline telescopic shaft slide while centralizing the outer shaft and the inner shaft to each other.SOLUTION: An unfinished resin coating layer 4 is formed by coating at least either of an inner spline 2a and an outer spline 3a with a resin material, an inner shaft 3 and an outer shaft 2 in which the unfinished resin coating layer 4 is formed are coupled to each other so that an outer spline 3a and an inner spline 2a can slide with respect to each other, an inner-shaft side jig 30 and an outer-shaft side jig 20 are made to relatively reciprocate along an axial direction of an intermediate shaft 1 in a state that a lower end of the inner shaft 3 is grasped by the inner-shaft side jig 30, an upper end of the outer shaft 2 is grasped by the outer-shaft side jig 20, and the lower end of the inner shaft 3 and the upper end of the outer shaft 2 are grasped, and the finished resin coating layer 4 is formed by making the unfinished resin coating layer 4 follow the corresponding outer spline 3a or the inner spline 2a while centralizing the inner shaft 3 or the outer shaft 2 to each other at least at either of the inner-shaft side jig 30 and the outer-shaft side jig 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】スプライン伸縮軸の外軸と内軸とを求心させながら摺動させて仕上後の樹脂コーティング層を精度よく成形する。【解決手段】内スプライン2a及び外スプライン3aの少なくとも一方を樹脂材料で被覆して仕上前の樹脂コーティング層4を形成し、仕上前の樹脂コーティング層4が形成された内軸3及び外軸2を外スプライン3aと内スプライン2aとが摺動可能なように結合し、内軸3の下端を内軸側治具30で掴み、外軸2の上端を外軸側治具20で掴み、内軸3の下端及び外軸2の上端を掴んだ状態で、内軸側治具30と外軸側治具20とを相対的にインターミディエイトシャフト1の軸方向に沿って往復運動させ、内軸側治具30及び外軸側治具20の少なくとも一方において内軸3又は外軸2を求心させながら仕上前の樹脂コーティング層4を対応する外スプライン3a又は内スプライン2aに倣わせて仕上後の樹脂コーティング層4を形成する。【選択図】図2
