To improve a strength of a junction of a transparent resin member with glass fibers and a support member and thereby improve a strength of a vehicular pillar containing the members.SOLUTION: A vehicular pillar structure 30 includes: a first opaque support member 36A composed of a material whose a coefficient of expansion is a first value; a second opaque support member 36B which extends along an end on a vehicle front side of a side door glass 50, is arranged so as to be separated from the first support member 36A, and is composed of a material whose a coefficient of expansion is a second value; and a resin transparent member 32 which is arranged astride the first support member 36A and the second support member 36B, is composed of a material whole coefficients of linear expansion of the first support member 36A and the second support member 36B are values larger than the first value and the second value, and contains a large number of glass fibers so that the longitudinal direction of the fibers faces a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the first support member and the second support member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】ガラス繊維入りの透明な樹脂部材と支持部材との接合部の強度を向上させることで、これらを含んで構成される車両用ピラーの強度を向上させること。【解決手段】車両用ピラー構造30は、膨張係数が第1の値である材料で構成された不透明な第1支持部材36Aと、サイドドアガラス50の車両前方側の端部に沿って延在されると共に、第1支持部材36Aに対して離間して配置され、さらに線膨張係数が第2の値である材料で構成された不透明な第2支持部材36Bと、第1支持部材36Aと第2支持部材36Bとに架け渡されて配置され、第1支持部材36A及び第2支持部材36Bの線膨張係数が第1の値及び第2の値よりも大きい値である材料で構成され、さらに繊維の長手方向が第1支持部材及び第2支持部材の長手方向に対して略直交する向きに長手方向を向けられた多数のガラス繊維を含んで構成された樹脂製の透明部材32と、を有する。【選択図】図4
