To provide a high voltage system with high reliability which can prevent electric shock due to leakage current and an influence on peripheral electronic devices in the high voltage system which makes a vibration attenuation mechanism using electric viscous fluid as working fluid a load, and a failure diagnosis method of the high voltage system.SOLUTION: A high voltage system has a first circuit 14 having a power supply 35 and a ground 46, a second circuit 15 magnetically coupled with the first circuit through a transformer 25 and having a load connected to the ground, a controller 23 connected to the ground, a third circuit 30 connected to the second circuit and the ground, first resistors 39H and 39L provided between a connection point of a high potential end of the second circuit and the ground, and second resistors 40H and 40L provided between the connection point of a low potential end of the second circuit and the ground and having a resistance value different from that of the first resistor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
