The invention relates to the field of electric vehicle fault diagnosis, in particular to a fault diagnosis device and method of a high-voltage system. The device comprises a battery management system and a high-voltage junction box, and is characterized in that a vehicle control unit, a high-voltage fault detection module and a high-voltage load feedback module are further included, wherein the high-voltage fault detection module is connected with the vehicle control unit through a CAN bus; the high-voltage fault detection module is connected with the battery management system through a first high-voltage interlocking wire and connected with the high-voltage junction box through a second high-voltage interlocking wire; the high-voltage load feedback module is electrically connected with the high-voltage junction box; and the vehicle control unit controls the high-voltage fault detection module and the high-voltage load feedback module, and information sent by the high-voltage fault detection module and the high-voltage load feedback module is acquired, so that whether the battery management system or the high-voltage junction box fails or not can be determined. The fault diagnosis device and method are used for comprehensively detecting faults of the high-voltage system, and the driving and taking safety of electric vehicles is improved.
