To alleviate concentration of stress in the vicinity of a joggle part while inhibiting degradation in weldability.SOLUTION: A vehicle body frame structure is formed by joining a rear end of a front frame 5 with a front end of a rear frame 6 using a faucet joint. Borders 81 and 82 between joggle parts 53a and 53b and plane parts 55a, 55b, 56a, and 56b of an outer frame 51 of the front frame 5 are extended in a direction allowing the borders to separate from the front end of the rear frame 6 as they go towards outside in a vehicle width direction. Accordingly, the distance between each of the joggle parts 53a and 53b and the front end of the rear frame 6 is shorter inside in the vehicle width direction of each of the borders 81 and 82. Therefore, weldability can be kept excellent. Further, the distance between each of the joggle parts 53a and 53b and the front end of the rear frame 6 can be made sufficiently long outside in the vehicle width direction of each of the borders 81 and 82. Therefore, concentration of stress in the vicinity of the joggle part 53 can be alleviated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】溶接性の悪化を抑制しながらも背切り部の周辺での応力集中を緩和する。【解決手段】前側フレーム5の後端部と後側フレーム6の前端部とを印籠継手により繋ぎ合わせて成る車体フレーム構造に対し、各背切り部53a,53bと、前側フレーム5のアウタフレーム材51における各平面部55a,55b,56a,56bとの境界81,82を、それぞれ車幅方向の外側に向かうに従って後側フレーム6の前端部から離れる方向に延在させる。これにより、各境界81,82において車幅方向の内側部分にあっては、各背切り部53a,53bと後側フレーム6の前端部との間の距離が短くなっており、溶接性を良好に確保することができる。また、各境界81,82において車幅方向の外側部分にあっては、各背切り部53a,53bと後側フレーム6の前端部との間の距離を十分に長くすることができ、背切り部53の周辺での応力集中を緩和することができる。【選択図】図2
