To provide a vehicular braking device that can suppress decrease in reserved electric energy of an auxiliary electric power source while allowing an occupant to early recognize a failure of a main electric power source.SOLUTION: The vehicular braking device comprises; an electric brake booster 43 that can brake a vehicle by driving a motor 32; a main electric power source 11 that can supply electric power to the electric brake booster 43; a capacitor 21 that can supply electric power to the electric brake booster 43; an ECU 5 that can control electric power to be supplied to the electric brake booster 43; and a parking state detecting part 53 that can detect a parking state of the vehicle. The ECU 5 is provided with a charging control part 56 that charges electric power into the capacitor 21 and a charging start-timing setting part that sets timing of starting to charge electric power into the capacitor 21 to timing earlier than timing of starting the vehicle when the detected parking state by the parking state detecting part 53 is a specific parking state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
