To provide a vehicular occupant crash protective device capable of reducing load to a chest portion caused by a seat belt with respect to an occupant of small build.SOLUTION: A vehicular occupant crash protective device 10 includes a shoulder belt 12A, a shoulder anchor mechanism 20, collision detection means 32, physique detection means 34 and joint movement means 40. The shoulder belt 12A restrains an occupant seated on a seat from his/her shoulder to hip. The shoulder anchor mechanism 20 is provided on a lateral upper side in a cabin, and includes a slip joint 22 for supporting the shoulder belt 12A. The collision detection means 32 detects collision of the vehicle. The physique detection means 34 detects the physique of the occupant in the seated state. The joint movement means 40 moves the slip joint 22 to at least one of the vehicle front side and the vehicle rear side when the physique detection means 34 detects the physique of the occupant smaller than a certain standard and when the collision detection means 32 detects collision.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】体格が小柄の乗員に対して、シートベルトによる胸部への荷重を小さくすることができる車両用乗員保護装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両用乗員保護装置10は、ショルダベルト12Aと、ショルダアンカ機構20と、衝突検知手段32と、体格検知手段34と、ジョイント移動手段40とを備えている。ショルダベルト12Aはシートに着座状態の乗員を肩から腰にかけて拘束する。ショルダアンカ機構20は、車室内の側部上方側に設けられ、ショルダベルト12Aを支持するスリップジョイント22を有する。衝突検知手段32は車両の衝突を検知する。体格検知手段34は乗員の着座状態の体格を検知する。ジョイント移動手段40は、体格検知手段34により乗員の体格が一定基準に比し小柄と検知され、衝突検知手段32により衝突が検知されると、車両前方側及び車両下方側の少なくとも一方へスリップジョイント22を移動させる。【選択図】図1
