To achieve reduction in air resistance generated backward of a tire.SOLUTION: The car body construction includes a strake 1 more backward than a front end Ta of a tire T1. The strake 1 includes a displacement part 5 which displaces in such a direction that the strake gets nearer to the tire T1 as it goes more backward. The whole of the strake 1 is positioned between a front end Ta and a rear end Tb of the tire T1 between left and right tires. The strake 1 is mounted on a cover 4 of a rear suspension 2 supporting the tire T1 on a vehicle body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
