To provide an on-vehicle radar device and axis deviation detection method of the on-vehicle radar device, which can easily detect an axis deviation of the on-vehicle radar device and can avoid detection accuracy of the on-vehicle radar device from falling.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle radar device comprises: a radar transmission unit that transmits a radar transmission wave; a radar reception unit that receives a radar reflection wave in which the radar transmission wave is reflected by an object; a target detection unit that detects target information corresponding to the object from the radar reflection wave; a target tracking unit that determines whether the object is a still object by tracking a time fluctuation of a relative position of the target; a radar axis deviation detection unit that calculates a first value serving a distance between the vehicle and the still object on the basis of a shape of a known still object, and information about an initial installation location of the on-vehicle radar device, calculate a second value serving a distance at a time point when electric power of the target of the still object attenuates, and detects presence or absence of an axis deviation on the basis of a difference between the first value and the second value; and an axis deviation notice unit that notices the axis deviation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】車載レーダ装置の軸ずれを容易に検出でき、車載レーダ装置の検出精度の低下を回避することができる車載レーダ装置及び車載レーダ装置の軸ずれ検出方法の提供に資すること。【解決手段】車載レーダ装置は、レーダ送信波を送信するレーダ送信部と、レーダ送信波が対象物によって反射したレーダ反射波を受信するレーダ受信部と、レーダ反射波から対象物に対応する物標情報を検出する物標検出部と、物標の相対位置の時間変動を追跡することによって、対象物が静止物か否かを判定する物標追跡部と、既知の静止物の形状、および、車載レーダ装置の初期設置位置に関する情報に基づいて、車両と静止物の間の距離である第1の値を算出し、静止物の物標の電力が減衰した時点における距離である第2の値を算出し、第1の値と第2の値の差に基づいて、軸のずれの有無を検出するレーダ軸ずれ検出部と、軸のずれを通知する軸ずれ通知部と、を備える。【選択図】図1
