To improve fuel economy by executing charge discharge control of a battery appropriately.SOLUTION: A liquid temperature of a battery 26 mounted on a vehicle 10 is estimated in response to IG ON operation, and is stored in response to IG OFF operation. Variation among an estimated liquid temperature and temperatures at multiple positions of the vehicle 10 is detected in relation to the liquid temperature estimation processing. When the detected variation is less than a threshold level TH1, a battery liquid temperature estimation initial value is set based on a lower temperature, out of multiple temperatures attended for detecting variation. Meanwhile, when the detected variation exceeds the threshold level TH1, the battery liquid temperature estimation initial value is set based on the lower temperature, out of the liquid temperature stored in response to the previous time IG OFF operation and the multiple temperatures attended for detecting variation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】バッテリの充放電制御を適切に実行し、燃費を向上させること。【解決手段】車両10に搭載されたバッテリ26の液温は、IGオン操作に応答して推定され、IGオフ操作に応答して保存される。また、推定された液温と車両10の複数の位置の温度との間のばらつきは、液温推定処理に関連して検出される。検出されたばらつきが閾値TH1以下であれば、ばらつきを検出するために注目された複数の温度のうち低い方の温度に基づいて、バッテリ液温推定初期値が設定される。一方、検出されたばらつきが閾値TH1を上回れば、前回のIGオフ操作に応答して保存された液温およびばらつきを検出するために注目された複数の温度のうち低い方の温度に基づいて、バッテリ液温推定初期値が設定される。【選択図】図1
