To provide a vehicle rear part structure capable of achieving excellent load bearing capacity of a lower back member while suppressing an increase in a weight and a rise in a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: In at least areas nearer to lower ends of a pair of left and right pillar members 3 constituting both-side parts in the vehicle width direction of a back door opening 1 formed at a rear part of a vehicle V, there are formed inclination parts 30, 31 inclined to be positioned nearer to the center in the vehicle width direction as it goes more downward. The whole or a part of a lower back member 4 constituting a lower side part of the back door opening 1 is formed as an arch part 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
