To provide a track with improved safety and operability which copes with the fact that, in the track transportation system in which a transportation vehicle travels on the track, if there is an obstacle on the track, it cannot be avoided by steering, therefore, detecting an obstacle is important for improving the safety and operability of the transportation system.SOLUTION: The system includes a transportation vehicle 101 for transporting passengers, an obstacle detection vehicle 102 which has a sensor detecting an obstacle on the track and positioned in front of the transportation vehicle, and a communication means 103, which communicably connects the transportation vehicle with the obstacle detection vehicle. The transportation vehicle decelerates when receives an obstacle detection signal from a sensor 104.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】軌道上を輸送用車両が走行する軌道輸送システムでは、軌道上に障害物があった場合、操舵による回避が出来ない。そのため、障害物を検知することは輸送システムの安全性や運用性を向上させるために重要である。これに対応すべく、安全性や運用性を向上させた軌道輸送システムを提供する。【解決手段】乗客を輸送する輸送用車両101と、前記輸送用車両に先行し、軌道上の障害物を検知するセンサーを有する障害物検知車両102と、前記輸送用車両と前記障害物検知車両との間を通信可能につなぐ通信手段103を備える。輸送用車両は、センサー104による障害物検知信号を受けて減速する。【選択図】図1
