To provide a vehicle roof side member which can inhibit weight increase of a vehicle and enables efficient improvement of torsional stiffness of a vehicle body.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a roof side member 10 of a vehicle including a roof side inner panel 6 and a roof side outer panel 7 which are disposed along a vehicle fore and aft direction so as to face each other while forming a closed cross section S. A corner part c1 formed by the roof side inner panel 6 and the roof side outer panel 7 into a V shape is provided at a lower area s1 of the closed cross section S. In the roof side member 10, a foam filling member 11 is disposed in an inner space of at least the corner part c1 within the closed cross section S. A brace member 9 or the foam filling member 11 is joined to the roof side inner panel 6 and the roof side outer panel 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
