To realize a structure which can prevent a guide member for guiding movement of a bearing disposed at the tip side of a worm shaft from rotating relative to a housing.SOLUTION: A protruding guide side engagement part 39 protruding to the radial outer side is provided on an outer peripheral surface of a bottom plate part 35 forming a guide member 21. Further, a recessed housing side engagement part 40 recessed to the radial outer side is provided on an inner peripheral surface of a worm shaft housing part 26 forming a housing 9. The guide side engagement part 39 and the housing side engagement part 40 are engaged at their recess and protrusion without causing backlash in a circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】ウォーム軸の先端側に配置された軸受の移動を案内するためのガイド部材が、ハウジングに対して相対回転することを防止できる構造を実現する。【解決手段】ガイド部材21を構成する底板部35の外周面に、径方向外方に向けて突出した凸状のガイド側係合部39を設ける。また、ハウジング9を構成するウォーム軸収容部26の内周面に、径方向外方に向けて凹んだ凹状のハウジング側係合部40を設ける。そして、これらガイド側係合部39とハウジング側係合部40とを、円周方向に関するがたつきなく凹凸係合させる。【選択図】図4
