To provide a railway operation support system which suppresses increase of transmission data and avoids tightness in wireless network band widths.SOLUTION: A train 1 comprises a camera 101 which takes a photograph of a peripheral situation of the train 1 and cuts out a monitoring region from the photograph of the peripheral situation of the train 1, a picture signal generating part 102 which generates picture signals of the monitoring region using an output of the camera 101 and a picture signal transmission part 103 which transmits the picture signals of the monitoring region.
