To provide an automatic train protection system capable of safely stopping a train when a problem of railroad crossing occurs.SOLUTION: An automatic train protection system comprises: an on-board device and a ground device. The ground device includes a rail transmission sender capable of sending current signal including specified information to a rail. The on-board device includes: a receiver receiving information signal contained in current by detecting magnetic field caused by current flowing in the rail; and speed detection means detecting the train speed. An on-vehicle controller reads out, when information is received from a ground element by an information reception unit, a specific protection pattern or a computing equation from a storage device and set it as a speed control target, and when the on-vehicle controller receives information related to a problem of railroad crossing by the receiver and determines that a problem of railroad crossing occurs, the on-vehicle controller gives notification of the problem of railroad crossing by a monitor device, and controls a brake device on the basis of the protection pattern and the detection signal from the speed detection means to perform a deceleration control of the train speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】踏切支障が発生した際に列車を安全に停止させることができる自動列車防護システムを実現する。【解決手段】車上装置と地上装置とを備えた自動列車防護システムにおいて、地上装置は、レールに所定の情報を含む電流信号を送信可能なレール伝送送信器を備え、車上装置は、レールに流れる電流によって生じる磁界を検知して電流に含まれる情報信号を受信するための受電器と、列車速度を検出するための速度検出手段とを備え、車上制御部は、情報受信部により地上子からの情報を受信すると記憶装置より所定の防護パターンまたは演算式を読み出して速度制御目標として設定し、受電器により踏切支障に関する情報を受信し踏切支障が発生していると判定した場合に、モニタ装置により踏切支障を知らせる報知を行わせるとともに、防護パターンおよび速度検出手段からの検出信号に基づいてブレーキ装置を制御して列車速度の減速制御を行うようにした。【選択図】図1
