To provide a technique that can reduce possibility of receiving information by a device that does not require information transmitted by a roadside device.SOLUTION: The roadside device 5 includes a first communication unit that performs transmission using a first antenna 511 having directionality. By transmitting information from a beam along a road in directivity, the first communication unit reduces possibility of being received by a device other than the device existing on the road.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
