PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-twisted steel cord for reinforcing rubber products, with less reduction in cord strength relative to the sum total of strength of filaments to constitute the cord.SOLUTION: The steel cord has a multi-twisted structure having a plurality of strands including two or more twisted layers of filaments. At least a part of the filaments has a tensile strength of 3000 MPa or more, and a lamellar orientation angle at the surface layer of 0.0° or more and 6.0° or less, or 12.5° or more and 18.5° or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】複撚りのスチールコードについて、コードを構成するフィラメントの強力の総和に対するコード強度の低下が小さいゴム物品補強用スチールコードを提供する。【解決手段】複数のフィラメントを2層以上撚り合わせてなるストランドを、複数撚り合わせた複撚りの構造を有し、前記フィラメントの少なくとも一部は抗張力が3000MPa以上であり、前記フィラメントの少なくとも一部における表層部のラメラ配向角が0.0°以上6.0°以下、または12.5°以上18.5°以下である。【選択図】図1
