PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a ground structure for an electric-vehicular drive unit from becoming complex.SOLUTION: A ground structure for an electric-vehicular drive unit includes a rotary electric machine 4 for outputting power to a rotary shaft Sbeing connected to a power transmission mechanism 5 that has a rotary element 60 connected to the rotary shaft S. The ground structure includes circumferential wall parts 71, 72 for forming a space portion R between an electric machine case 40 and a mechanism case 50. The circumferential wall parts 71, 72 are formed by joint parts 41, 42, 51, 52 mutually abutted, the joint parts provided in the electric machine case 40 of the rotary electric machine 4 and the mechanism case 50 of the power transmission mechanism 5, respectively. Also provided are a case hole Hthat communicates the space portion R with inside of the power transmission mechanism 5, and an air vent hole Hfor air-venting the space portion R to the outside by communication.     【課題】電動車両用駆動ユニットにおけるアース構造の複雑化を抑える。【解決手段】電動車両用駆動ユニットのアース構造では、回転軸SOに動力を出力する回転電機4と回転軸SOに接続された回転要素60を有する動力伝達機構5とが互いに接合されている。本アース構造には、電機ケース40と機構ケース50との間に空間Rを形成する周壁部71,72が設けられている。この周壁部71,72は、回転電機4の電機ケース40と動力伝達機構5の機構ケース50とのそれぞれに設けられた接合部41,42,51,52が互いに突き合わされて構成される。また、空間Rと動力伝達機構5の内部とを連通するケース孔HC1と、空間Rと外部とを連通して大気開放する大気開放孔HAとが設けられている。さらに、空間Rに配置され、回転要素60を接地するアース体8が設けられている。【選択図】図2
