PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate ride comfort of an occupant in a vehicle by a simple structure.SOLUTION: An occupant state estimation device 100 obtains a vehicle behavior signal from a vehicle behavior sensor 10 that is fixed and set on a vehicle to detect movements of the vehicle and/or inclination of a vehicle body. The vehicle behavior signal includes vehicle behaviors indicating movements of the vehicle and/or inclination of the vehicle body. The occupant state estimation device obtains a gravity center movement control signal including movements of the gravity center of an occupant from a gravity center movement control sensor 20 that is configured to detect movements of the gravity center of at least one occupant in the vehicle. Then, for example, a fluctuation calculation part 101 calculates fluctuations on the basis of time-sequence data of differences between the vehicle behavior signal and the gravity center movement control signal, and a comfort/discomfort estimation part 102 estimates on the basis of the calculated fluctuations whether the occupant feels comfortable on the vehicle behaviors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
