PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body frame structure of saddle-riding type vehicle, having a head pipe, a main frame, a down frame and a stiffener frame connecting between the main frame and the down frame, the vehicle body frame structure of saddle-riding type vehicle being capable of achieving reductions in cost and weight by making a front part of the main frame flexible, thereby absorbing stress from a front wheel.SOLUTION: A head pipe 13, a front main frame 38 extending backward from the head pipe 13, a backward extending part 39 extending downward to the back from a rear end lower part of the front main frame 38, an upper down frame 40 extending downward to the back from the head pipe 13 and a stiffener frame 16 connecting a lower part of the upper down frame 40 with the rear end lower part of the front main frame 38 and a lower end of the backward extending part 39 are formed integrally with each other. A front part of a rear main frame 41 formed from pipe material and a rear part of the front main frame 38 and the backward extending part 39 are mutually overlapped at a first welded part 44 before welding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ヘッドパイプと、メインフレームと、ダウンフレームと、メインフレームおよびダウンフレーム間を連結するスティフナフレームとを備える鞍乗り型車両の車体フレーム構造において、メインフレームの前部をしなり易くして前輪からの応力を吸収することを可能とした上でコストダウンおよび軽量化を図る。【解決手段】ヘッドパイプ13と、ヘッドパイプ13から後方に延びる前部メインフレーム38と、前部メインフレーム38の後端下部から後下がりに延びる後方延出部39と、ヘッドパイプ13から後下がりに延びる上部ダウンフレーム40と、上部ダウンフレーム40の下部を前部メインフレーム38の後端下部および後方延出部39の下部に連結するスティフナフレーム16とが一体に形成され、パイプ材から成る後部メインフレーム41の前部と、前部メインフレーム38の後部および後方延出部39とが第1の溶接部44で相互に重なって溶接される。【選択図】 図2
