PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lateral force of rear wheels from being deteriorated and to secure running stability of a vehicle even if brake is performed in such a condition that differential of the front wheels and the rear wheels is not allowed in a four-wheel drive vehicle which comprises a differential restriction device capable of altering restriction degree of the differential of a rotation axis for the front wheels and a rotation axis for the rear wheels and a brake equipment capable of independently altering brake force of the front wheels and brake force of the rear wheels with each other.SOLUTION: A differential restriction control unit determines in a case that a restriction degree Tcu of the differential is set to a second degree Tcumax so as not to allow the differential by a center differential device, whether or not a specified state having high possibility that a rear wheel slip ratio becomes greater than a front wheel slip ratio is caused when supposing that the restriction degree Tcu of the differential is set to a first degree allowing the differential completely, and alters the restriction degree of the differential from the second degree to the first degree when determining that the specified state is caused.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】前輪用回転軸と後輪用回転軸の差動の制限度合いを変更可能な差動制限装置と、前輪の制動力及び後輪の制動力を互いに独立して変更可能な制動装置と、を備えた四輪駆動車両において、前輪と後輪の差動が許容されない状態にて制動が行われている場合であっても、後輪の横力の低下を防止し、車両の走行安定性を確保する。【解決手段】センターディファレンシャル装置による差動を許容しないように差動の制限度合いTcuを第2の度合いTcumaxに設定している場合において、差動の制限度合いTcuを差動を完全に許容する第1の度合いに設定したと仮定したときに後輪スリップ率が前輪スリップ率よりも大きくなる状態が発生する可能性が高い特定状態が生じたか否かを判定し、特定状態が発生すると判定したとき、差動の制限度合いを第2の度合いから第1の度合いに変更する。【選択図】図5
