To provide a controller for four-wheel drive vehicle that suppresses circulation torque acting on occurrence of anchorage failure to an electronic control coupling.SOLUTION: Since a controller includes a clutch engagement control part 104 which controls a first clutch 24 and a second clutch 32 into a disconnection state respectively when an anchorage failure diagnostic part 106 diagnoses occurrence of anchorage failure to an electronic control coupling 48, a clutch engagement control part 104 controls the first clutch 24 and second clutch 32 into the disconnection state respectively if the occurrence of anchorage failure to the electronic control coupling 48 is diagnosed. Consequently, if the anchorage failure occurs to the electronic control coupling 48, power transmission between an engine 12 and a power transmission path 52 and power transmission between the power transmission path 52 and rear wheels 16L, 16R are cut of, respectively, so circulation torque acting owing to the occurrence of anchorage failure to the electronic control coupling 48 is suitably suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】電子制御カップリングに固着故障が生じることによって作用する循環トルクを抑制させる4輪駆動車両の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】固着故障診断部106で電子制御カップリング48に固着故障が生じたと診断された場合には、第1クラッチ24および第2クラッチ32をそれぞれ切断状態に制御するクラッチ係合制御部104を含むので、電子制御カップリング48に固着故障が生じたと診断された場合にはクラッチ係合制御部104によって第1クラッチ24および第2クラッチ32をそれぞれ切断状態に制御される。このため、電子制御カップリング48に固着故障が生じた場合には、エンジン12と動力伝達経路52との間の動力伝達および動力伝達経路52と後輪16L、16Rとの間の動力伝達がそれぞれ切断されるので、電子制御カップリング48に固着故障が生じることによって作用する循環トルクが好適に抑制される。【選択図】図2
