PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel capable of reducing cost regarding operation while suppressing compression of a space by installation of a desulfurization equipment in suppressing an amount of emission of sulfur content and a power system and an operational method for the vessel.SOLUTION: A vessel includes: a main engine 3 capable of being driven by high-sulfur fuel F2; a shaft generator 4 for carrying out power generation linked to driving of the main engine 3; a main generator 5 for carrying out power generation by low sulfur fuel F1 with lower sulfur content than the high sulfur fuel F2; and a desulfurization equipment 8 for eliminating sulfur content from exhaust gas G burning the high sulfur fuel F2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
