PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety after a vehicle collision.SOLUTION: A device for assisting brake after collision comprises: a determining section 11 that determines whether a driver is in an improper state of driving, which affects a driving operation; a collision detecting section 12 that detects a collision of the vehicle; and a brake control section 13 that, in a case where the collision of the vehicle is detected by a collision detecting section 12, causes the vehicle to apply brake force regardless of the presence or absence of a brake operation. The brake control section 13 makes specific brake force when the determining section 11 determines that the driver is in the improper state of driving, greater than specific brake force when the determining section determines that the driver is not in the improper state of driving.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両衝突後の安全性を向上させる。【解決手段】運転手が運転操作に支障を来たしている運転不適状態に該当するか否かを判定する判定部11と、車両の衝突を検知する衝突検知部12と、衝突検知部12により車両の衝突が検知された場合に、ブレーキ操作の有無にかかわらず車両に所定の制動力を発生させるブレーキ制御部13と、を備え、ブレーキ制御部13は、判定部11により運転手が運転不適状態に該当すると判定されたときの所定の制動力を、運転手が運転不適状態に該当しないと判定されたときの所定の制動力よりも大きくする。【選択図】図1
