PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power unit which can improve a rate of fuel consumption by optimizing a lower limit voltage, when generating electric power from a generator by power of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: Out of multiple lower limit voltage maps for defining a lower limit voltage of a power generation voltage during fuel injection power generation according to an average regenerative power generation amount, a lower limit voltage map according to an average MAX regenerative current value and a battery temperature is extracted (ST7). The lower limit voltage of the power generation voltage is fitted to the extracted lower limit voltage map, and the lower limit voltage of the power generation voltage is read (ST8), before setting the lower limit voltage thus read as the lower limit voltage during fuel injection power generation (ST9). With such an arrangement, generation of charged polarization in a battery can be restrained before a start of regenerative power generation (charged polarization due to feedback control of power generation voltage can be restrained), and a sufficient regenerative power generation amount can be obtained. As a result, a fuel injection power generation amount can be reduced, and a rate of fuel consumption can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】内燃機関の動力によって発電機での発電を行う際の下限電圧を適正化することで燃料消費率の改善を図ることができる電源装置を提供する。【解決手段】平均回生発電量に応じて燃料噴射発電時の発電電圧の下限電圧を規定する複数の下限電圧マップのうち、平均MAX回生電流値およびバッテリ温度に応じた下限電圧マップを抽出する(ST7)。この抽出した下限電圧マップに平均回生発電量を当て嵌めて発電電圧の下限電圧を読み出し(ST8)、この読み出した下限電圧を燃料噴射発電時の下限電圧として設定する(ST9)。これにより、回生発電の開始前にバッテリに充電分極が発生してしまうことを抑制でき(発電電圧のフィードバック制御に起因する充電分極を抑制でき)、回生発電時には十分な回生発電量を得ることが可能になる。その結果、燃料噴射発電量を減少させることができ、燃料消費率の改善を図ることができる。【選択図】図5
