PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for side wall capable of improving tire durability performance without increasing an age resistor.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for side wall contains a rubber component containing a natural rubber and/or isoprene rubber, and a butadiene rubber, and silica having a BET specific surface area of 200 m/g or more, where in 100 mass% of the rubber component, contents of the natural rubber and the isoprene rubber are 45 mass% or more, and the content of the butadiene rubber is 25 mass% or more, the content of the silica with respect to 100 pts.mass of the rubber component is 20-70 pts.mass, a tensile strength at the time of brand-new is 24 MPa or more, and a reduction degree of the tensile strength after exposure at a temperature 80°C, ozone concentration of 100 pphm, dynamic elongation strain of 10% and a frequency of 0.5 Hz for 24 hours is 10 MPa or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】老化防止剤を増量することなくタイヤ耐久性能を向上させることができるサイドウォール用ゴム組成物を提供する。【解決手段】天然ゴム及び/又はイソプレンゴム、並びに、ブタジエンゴムを含むゴム成分と、BET比表面積が200m2/g以上のシリカとを含有し、前記ゴム成分100質量%中、前記天然ゴム及び前記イソプレンゴムの含有量が45質量%以上、前記ブタジエンゴムの含有量が25質量%以上であり、前記ゴム成分100質量部に対する前記シリカの含有量が20〜70質量部であり、新品時の引張強度が24MPa以上で、かつ、温度80℃、オゾン濃度100pphm、動的伸張歪10%、周波数0.5Hzで24時間暴露後の引張強度の低下度が10MPa以下であるサイドウォール用ゴム組成物に関する。【選択図】なし
