PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a side wall excellent in low heat generation and fatigue resistance.SOLUTION: Provided is a rubber composition for a side wall comprising diene rubber, carbon black and silica, in which the diene rubber includes a modified polymer obtained by reacting a natural rubber and/or an isoprene rubber and a conjugated diene polymer with a nitrone compound, in the diene rubber, the content of the natural rubber and/or the isoprene rubber is 30 to 70 mass%, the content of the modified polymer is 5 to 70 mass%, the nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of the carbon black is 20 to 60 m/g, to 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber, the content of the carbon black is 5 to 45 pts.mass, the content of the silica is 15 to 55 pts.mass, and the total content of the carbon black and the silica is 30 to 60 pts.mass.

    【課題】低発熱性および耐疲労性に優れるサイドウォール用ゴム組成物を提供する。【解決手段】ジエン系ゴムとカーボンブラックとシリカとを含有し、上記ジエン系ゴムが、天然ゴムおよび/またはイソプレンゴムと共役ジエン重合体にニトロン化合物を反応させることで得られる変性ポリマーとを含み、上記ジエン系ゴム中、上記天然ゴムおよび/または上記イソプレンゴムの含有量が30〜70質量%であり、上記変性ポリマーの含有量が5〜70質量%であり、上記カーボンブラックの窒素吸着比表面積が20〜60m2/gであり、上記ジエン系ゴム100質量部に対して、上記カーボンブラックの含有量が5〜45質量部であり、上記シリカの含有量が15〜55質量部であり、上記カーボンブラックと上記シリカとの合計含有量が30〜60質量部である、サイドウォール用ゴム組成物。【選択図】なし
