PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landing ship and a construction method for the landing ship capable of improving horizontal stability when landing even when landing relatively shallowly while securing propulsion performance and maneuverability in the single barrel landing ship carrying out landing by having a bow portion run-on a beach.SOLUTION: A grounding unit 5 positioned on the same height as a keel line K or below the keel line K is provided on a ship bottom unit 3 which would be in a run-on state to a beach C when landing in a single barrel landing ship 1 carrying out landing by proceeding to the beach C from the bow 2 side and running-on the bow portion to the beach C. The distance between a starboard side end unit 5a and a port side end unit 5b in a ship width direction of this grounding unit 5 is set to be 20% or more and 90% or less of a maximum width B of the landing ship 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】船首部分を海岸に乗り上げて揚陸を行う単胴の揚陸船において、推進性能や操縦性能を確保しつつ、比較的浅く乗り上げた際であっても揚陸時の横安定性を向上させることができる揚陸船および揚陸船の建造方法を提供する。【解決手段】船首2側から海岸Cに進入し、船首部分を海岸Cに乗り上げて揚陸を行う単胴の揚陸船1において、揚陸時に海岸Cに乗り上げた状態となる乗り上げ船底部3に、キールラインKと同じ高さまたはキールラインKよりも下側に位置する接地部5を設ける。この接地部5の船幅方向における右舷側端部5aと左舷側端部5bとの間の距離は揚陸船1の最大幅Bの20%以上90%以下に設定する。【選択図】図2
