PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landing ship capable of suppressing a water immersion range when the interior of the ship is immersed in water by damage to a run-on unit in a landing ship carrying out landing by having the run-on unit on the bow portion run-on to a beach and a construction method for the landing ship.SOLUTION: A water-tight transverse bulkhead 10 for partitioning a run-on unit 3 and a hull portion which is more on a bow side than the run-on unit 3 and a water-tight transverse bulkhead for prevention of water immersion 11 for partitioning an inboard portion of the run-on unit 3 into at least two or more partitions A1 to A11 are provided inside a hull of a landing ship 1 carrying out landing by proceeding to a beach from a bow side and having the run-on unit 3 in a bow portion run onto a beach.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】船首部分の乗り上げ部を海岸に乗り上げて揚陸を行う揚陸船において、乗り上げ部が損傷して船内が浸水した場合においても、その浸水範囲を小さく抑えることができる揚陸船及び揚陸船の建造方法を提供する。【解決手段】船首側から海岸に進入し、船首部分の乗り上げ部3を海岸に乗り上げて揚陸を行う揚陸船1の船体内部に、乗り上げ部3と乗り上げ部3よりも船尾側の船内部分とを区分する水密横隔壁10と、乗り上げ部3の船内部分を少なくとも2つ以上の区画A1〜A11に区分する浸水防止用水密隔壁11を設ける。【選択図】図2
