PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a groove processing device of a sheave which is reducible in size, and can be adapted to a groove which is eccentrically worn due to the eccentric core rotation of the sheave, and a groove processing method of the sheave.SOLUTION: A groove processing device of a sheave has a tool 11 for processing a groove 60, a fixture 20 to which a pair of slide bodies 31, 32 and the tool 11 are attached, and a pair of guide rings 81, 82. The guide ring 81 has an annular guide face 811 which is vertical to a center axis, and the guide ring 82 has a guide face 821 which is vertical to the center axis. A pair of the guide rings 81, 82 is attached to the sheave 80, and the fixture 20 is fixed to a support table 10 for supporting the sheave 80. Then, the tool 11 is made to abut on the groove 60 of the sheave 80 in a state that one slide body 31 of the fixture 20 is made to abut on the guide face 811 of the guide ring 81, and the other slide body 32 is made to abut on the guide face 821 of the guide ring 82.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
