PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel air-cooled fuel cell unit in which cooling effect is improved by temperature equalization of an FC stack on the suction side and the exhaust side.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: An air-cooled fuel cell unit (100) includes an FC stack (1) having an air passage (10) for cooling and reaction penetrating between the first side (11) and the second side (12), means (2) for forming an air passage from fresh air introduction to the FC stack to exhaustion, and means (24) for generating airflow in the air passage. The means (2) for forming the air passage includes means (3) for switching a first air passage (2a-2a') entering the air passage from the first side of the FC stack and exiting from the second side, and a second air passage (2b-2b') entering the air passage from the second side of the FC stack and exiting from the first side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
