PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit vertical vibration of a hood rear end part provided with an airbag during traveling.SOLUTION: An airbag 40 which inflates and expands so as to cover at least a cowl 30 provided at the vehicle fore and aft direction rear side of a hood rear end part 20B when a vehicle 12 predicts or detects a collision with an object is provided at the hood rear end part 20B of a hood 20 covering a power unit room 14 at a front part of the vehicle 12. A hood lock mechanism 80 which locks the other vehicle fore and aft direction end side of a hinge base 52 to a hinge arm 54 is provided at a hood hinge 50 which connects the food rear end part 20B to a vehicle body so that the hood rear end part 20B can rotate in a vehicle vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】エアバッグを設けたフード後端部のフードの走行時における上下方向の振動を抑制する。【解決手段】車両12の前部のパワーユニットルーム14を覆うフード20のフード後端部20Bには、車両12が物体との衝突を予測又は検知した際に、フード後端部20Bの車両前後方向後側に設けられたカウル30を少なくとも覆うように膨張展開するエアバッグ40が設けられている。フード後端部20Bを車両上下方向に回転可能に車体に連結するフードヒンジ50には、ヒンジベース52の車両前後方向の他端側をヒンジアーム54にロックするフードロック機構80が設けられている。【選択図】図4
