PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular brake in which brake torque in the brake state can be set smaller under such a condition that the displacement amount of a linear motion member corresponding to the drive current becomes the largest, for example, in the vehicular brake stopping a motor on the basis of the drive current of the motor.SOLUTION: A vehicular brake, for example, includes a control unit which stops a motor on the basis of the change rate of the current value of the motor. In such a state that a linear motion member is arranged at the release position, an elastic member is in the free state. The linear motion member starts compression of the elastic member between a housing and itself before it reaches the brake position and compresses the elastic member until it reaches the brake position when heading from the release position to the brake position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】例えば、モータの駆動電流に基づいてモータを停止する車両用ブレーキにおいて、駆動電流に対応した直動部材の変位量が最も大きくなる条件においても、制動状態におけるブレーキトルクをより小さく設定することが可能な車両用ブレーキを得る。【解決手段】車両用ブレーキは、例えば、モータの電流値の変化率に基づいてモータを停止する制御部を備え、直動部材が解除位置に配置された状態では、弾性部材は自由状態であり、直動部材は、解除位置から制動位置に向かう場合に、制動位置に到達する前にハウジングとの間で弾性部材の圧縮を開始して制動位置に到達するまで弾性部材を圧縮する。【選択図】図9
