PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a semifinished product for vehicle equipment material capable of molding with a comparatively wide range of heating temperature, and obtaining an end product having high rigidity.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a semifinished product for vehicle equipment material include subjecting a fiber web obtained by integrating core-sheath type conjugate fibers to needle-punching to three-dimensionally entangle core-sheath type conjugate fibers with each other. A core constituent of the core-sheath type conjugate fiber comprises a copolymer of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid. A sheath constituent of the core-sheath type conjugate fiber comprises a copolymer including ethylene glycol, adipic acid, and terephthalic acid. The weight ratio of the core constituent to the sheath constituent (the core constituent: the sheath constituent) in the core-sheath type conjugate fiber is 1-3:1. The core constituent and the sheath constituent are arranged concentrically. The fiber web is constituted by adhering to the core-sheath type conjugate fibers each other by softening or melting the sheath constituent.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】 比較的広い範囲の加熱温度で成型でき、しかも高い剛性を持つ最終製品を得ることができる自動車装備材用半製品の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】 この自動車装備材用半製品の製造方法は、芯鞘型複合繊維が集積されている繊維ウェブに、ニードルパンチを施し、芯鞘型複合繊維相互間を三次元的に交絡させるというものである。芯鞘型複合繊維の芯成分はエチレングリコールとテレフタル酸の共重合体よりなる。芯鞘型複合繊維の鞘成分はエチレングリコールとアジピン酸とテレフタル酸を含む共重合体よりなる。芯鞘型複合繊維中の芯成分と鞘成分の重量比は、芯成分:鞘成分=1〜3:1である。芯成分と鞘成分は、同心に配置されている。繊維ウェブは、芯鞘型複合繊維相互間が鞘成分の軟化又は溶融によって接着されている。【選択図】 なし
