PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a semifinished product for an automotive equipment material which can be molded at heating temperatures in a relatively wide range, and which allows a final product with high stiffness to be obtained.SOLUTION: In a method for producing a semifinished product for an automotive equipment material, a fiber web formed by accumulating core-sheath type composite filaments is subjected to needle punching, thereby three-dimensionally entangling the core-sheath type composite filaments with each other. A core component in the core-sheath type composite filaments comprises a copolymer of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid. A sheath component in the core-sheath type composite filaments comprises a terpolymer of ethylene glycol, adipic acid, and isophthalic acid. The weight ratio of the core component to the sheath component in the core-sheath type composite filaments is: core component:sheath component=1-3:1. The core component and the sheath component are concentrically arranged. In the fiber web, the softening or melting of the sheath component causes the core-sheath type composite filaments to be adhered to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】 比較的広い範囲の加熱温度で成型でき、しかも高い剛性を持つ最終製品を得ることができる自動車装備材用半製品の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】 この自動車装備材用半製品の製造方法は、芯鞘型複合長繊維が集積されている繊維ウェブに、ニードルパンチを施し、芯鞘型複合長繊維相互間を三次元的に交絡させるというものである。芯鞘型複合長繊維の芯成分はエチレングリコールとテレフタル酸の共重合体よりなる。芯鞘型複合長繊維の鞘成分はエチレングリコールとアジピン酸とイソフタル酸の三元共重合体よりなる。芯鞘型複合長繊維中の芯成分と鞘成分の重量比は、芯成分:鞘成分=1〜3:1である。芯成分と鞘成分は、同心に配置されている。繊維ウェブは、芯鞘型複合長繊維相互間が鞘成分の軟化又は溶融によって接着されている。【選択図】 なし
