PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an obstruction in the surrounding of a planned route for an autonomous vehicle.SOLUTION: A navigation and a control system comprise: one or more position sensors which are configured to generate a position signal indicating a position and a travel direction of a vehicle; one or more operation control mechanisms having an input and generating an output for controlling an operation of a vehicle; and a built-in type autonomous type controller provided away from the operation control mechanisms. The autonomous controller comprises: a processor for receiving a position signal from the position sensor, and generating an operation control signal for defining an updated movement path of a vehicle; and a programmable interface for normalizing the input from the position sensor to the processor, generating an operation control signal which is adapted as an input to the operation control mechanism, and performing communication between the position sensor, operation control mechanism and processor.
