PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propeller power measuring system capable of measuring propeller power with a desired high accuracy even when the revolution of a propeller is at a relatively low speed, and a stern tube for the propeller power measuring system.SOLUTION: Provided is a propeller power measuring system which measures propeller power by having a propeller shaft 5 penetrating inside a stern tube 6, being pivotally supported by bearings on both end units in the axial direction of the stern tube, and connecting with a propeller by being protruded underwater from a hull. Thrust torque unbound type bearings 20 with low axial direction friction and rotational direction friction are used as bearings provided in the stern tube for the propeller power measuring system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】プロペラの回転数が比較的低速であっても、所望の高精度のプロペラ動力の計測が可能な船舶のプロペラ動力計測システムおよび前記計測システム用のスターンチューブを提供する。【解決手段】プロペラ軸5が、スターンチューブ6内を貫通し、かつスターンチューブの軸方向両端部において軸受により軸支され、船体内から水中に突出してプロペラと結合されることにより、プロペラ動力を計測するプロペラ動力計測システム用の、前記軸受を備えたスターンチューブにおいて、前記軸受を、軸方向摩擦および回転方向摩擦が小さいスラスト・トルク非拘束タイプの軸受20とする。【選択図】図4
