PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a driving burden of an occupant when a vehicle can arrive at a destination with the current battery residual amount.SOLUTION: A control device 70 of a driving distance extension auxiliary system includes: a residual distance calculation module 110 for calculating a residual distance from the current place to a destination on the basis of position information of a GPS and map information; an angle calculation module 120 for calculating an average inclination angle from the current place to the destination on the basis of the position information of the GPS and the map information; a battery residual amount calculation module 130 for calculating the battery residual amount of a battery; a maximum vehicle speed calculation module 140 for calculating the maximum vehicle speed being the maximum value of a vehicle speed for enabling arrival at the destination on the basis of the residual distance, the battery residual amount and the average inclination angle; and a vehicle speed control module 150 for controlling the revolving speed of a drive motor so as to make the vehicle speed of an electric vehicle the maximum vehicle speed or below.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
