PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device and a recovery method of an underwater vessel capable of suppressing oscillation of a connector capturing the underwater vessel and capable of storing the underwater vessel easily.SOLUTION: A storage device 1 of an underwater vessel V includes: a fender 2 capable of storing the underwater vessel V; a first rope body 3 with one end connected to a mother ship M and another end connected to the fender 2; an underwater travelling body 4 provided with a connector 41 capable of being attached/detached to the underwater vessel V; a second rope body 5 with one end connected to the fender 2 and another end connected to the underwater travelling body 4; and a taking-up machine 6 arranged in the fender 2 for feeding and taking-up of the second rope body 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
