PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a crash can to be unfailingly crashed from its front part at an initial stage, at which an impact load caused during a light collision is input to the crash can, to improve energy absorption performance achieved by the crash can and thereby inhibit deformation of a front side frame.SOLUTION: A crash can 4 is formed into a cylindrical shape extending in a vehicle fore and aft direction. Ribs 46, 47 which continue into an inner surface and extend in the vehicle fore and aft direction are provided at an interior part of the crash can 4. A fragile part 40 is formed only at a vehicle front part of the crash can 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
