PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control apparatus, a vehicle control method and a vehicle control program, which are capable of preventing a vehicle itself from excessively approaching a preceding vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle control apparatus includes: a surroundings condition recognition part for recognizing a surroundings condition of a vehicle; an inclination travel control part for controlling travel of the vehicle so as to suppress acceleration caused by a down inclination in the case of the vehicle traveling the down inclination; a tracking travel control part for controlling traveling of the vehicle so as to track the preceding vehicle recognized by the surroundings condition recognition part; a reception part for receiving an instruction to switch on and off the inclination travel control part and tracking travel control part respectively. Further, in the case of the reception part receiving a turn-on signal for both the inclination travel control part and tracking travel control part, an operation of the tracking travel control part takes priority.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】自車両が先行車両に過度に近づくことを防止することができる車両制御装置、車両制御方法、および車両制御プログラムを提供することを目的の一つとする。【解決手段】車両制御装置は、車両の周辺状況を認識する周辺状況認識部と、下り勾配を前記車両が走行する場合に、下り勾配に起因する加速を抑制するように前記車両の走行を制御する勾配走行制御部と、前記周辺状況認識部により認識された先行車両に追従するように前記車両の走行を制御する追従走行制御部と、前記勾配走行制御部と前記追従走行制御部とを、それぞれオン状態またはオフ状態に切り替える指示を受け付ける受付部と、を備え、前記受付部により、前記勾配走行制御部と前記追従走行制御部との双方についてオン状態とする指示が受け付けられている場合、前記追従走行制御部の作動を優先する。【選択図】図1
