PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve propulsion performance by providing a rudder apparatus with a twist applied in a rudder portion in an area lower than a propeller shaft core of a vessel in the vessel equipped with a stern fin with an energy saving device for a vessel.SOLUTION: A rudder 14 with a stern fin arranged ahead of a propeller 4 and also in the rear, a twist is applied broadside where a propeller wing is lowered in advancing in a portion ahead of a stern perpendicular line AP in a lower area from a propeller shaft height position, and a rudder is arranged having size of the twist maximum in a position at propeller shaft core SL height, becoming smaller as going lower and zero at a bottom end, and at the same time having a cross-sectional shape with the opposite broadside applied with the twist in a projecting curve and the same broadside formed approximately linear. In the rudder, the propulsion performance is improved and propeller efficiency is advanced by having resistance reduced and lifting force generated by having gyration flow of the propeller hit the rudder in a lower area than height of the propeller shaft core SL.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】船舶用省エネ装置のスターンフィンの装備船において、上記船舶のプロペラ軸芯より下方域の舵部分で、ひねりを施した舵装置を提供し、推進性能を改善する。【解決手段】プロペラ4前方にスターンフィンを配置し、かつ後方に設けた舵14において、プロペラ軸高さ位置から下方域の船尾垂線APから前方の部分で、前進時にプロペラ翼が下降する舷側向にひねりを施し、該ひねりの大きさをプロペラ軸芯SL高さ位置で最大とし、下方につれて小さくして下端でゼロとし、且つ、ひねりを施した反対舷側が凸曲線状に、同一舷側が略直線状に形成した断面形状を有する舵を配置する。該舵においてプロペラ軸芯SL高さより下方域の舵に、プロペラの旋回流を当てることで抵抗が減少し、揚力も発生して推進性能が改善しプロペラ効率も向上する。【選択図】図2
