PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for an operation for adjusting the buoyancy of an underwater moving device and to ensure the safety of an operator.SOLUTION: This underwater moving device includes: a multi-joint manipulator 10 at a tip of which a probe plate 15 is detachably attached; a main buoyancy adjusting device that can adjust buoyancy by means of a buoyancy adjustment weight; and a buoyancy adjusting device 11 that adjusts buoyancy including the weight of the probe plate 15 through compression or expansion of an air chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
