PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring device for a vehicle that can monitor a battery and can reduce the number of wires.SOLUTION: A battery monitoring device 30 comprises: a detection unit 50 that detects at least one of the voltage at a predetermined point of a battery 10 installed in a vehicle and the temperature of the battery 10; and a radio communication unit 60 in which the detected information indicating at least one of the voltage and temperature of the battery 10 is sent to a battery ECU 20 (an outer device) mounted in the vehicle by wireless communication on the basis of the detection results of the detection unit 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
