PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vehicle stop control system which can choose a proper vehicle stopping position in the case of operating an automatic brake device to stop a vehicle when abnormality occurs in a driver in the traveling vehicle, while suppressing a cost increase.SOLUTION: An automatic vehicle stop control system is for automatically stopping a vehicle when abnormality occurs in a driver of the vehicle, and detects a lane marker from the captured image of a rear road. An automatic brake control part controls an automatic brake device to executes operation restriction on the automatic brake device when the length of the lane marker is equal to or less than a predetermined value and to release the operation restriction when the length of the lane marker becomes longer than the predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】コスト増加を抑えながらも、走行中の車両でドライバに異常が発生した際に自動ブレーキ装置を作動させて停車させる場合に、適切な停車位置を選択可能な自動停車制御システムを提供する。【解決手段】自動停車制御システムは、車両のドライバに異常が発生した際に自動的に停車させるシステムであって、後方道路の撮像画像からレーンマーカを検知する。自動ブレーキ制御部は、レーンマーカの長さが所定値以下である場合、自動ブレーキ装置の作動制限を実施し、その後、レーンマーカの長さが前記所定値より長くなった場合に、作動制限を解除するように、自動ブレーキ装置を制御する。【選択図】図5
