PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a rail brake in a self-activation manner, even if a fault occurs for supplying gas from a gas pressure supply source, in a rail brake system for a railway vehicle.SOLUTION: A rail brake system for a railway vehicle is provided with a frame which can be ascended from or descended to the rail side via a lifting device from a bogie frame supported by wheels. The lifting device 20 includes: a gas pressure supply source 70; a gas pressure cylinder 22; a gas pressure supply passage 80 extending from the gas pressure supply source 70 via a check valve 72 to a first gas chamber 30 of the gas pressure cylinder 22; and a three-way valve 100 having a first port 106 connected to the gas pressure supply passage 80, a second port 108 connected to an air pressure release port, and a third port 110 connected to a second gas chamber of the gas pressure cylinder 22. The third port of the three-way valve 100 is communicated with the second port 108 when brake control is in a dormant state, and connected to the first port 106 when the brake control is in an operation state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】鉄道車両のレールブレーキシステムにおいて、気体圧供給源からの気体供給に支障が生じても、自己起動的にレールブレーキを動作させることである。【解決手段】鉄道車両のレールブレーキシステムは、車輪に支持された台車枠から昇降装置を介してレール側に昇降可能なフレームを備える。昇降装置20は、気体圧供給源70と、気体圧シリンダ22と、気体圧供給源70から逆止弁72を介して気体圧シリンダ22の第1気体室30に延びる気体圧供給路80と、気体圧供給路80に接続される第1ポート106、大気圧開放口に接続される第2ポート108、及び気体圧シリンダ22の第2気体室に接続される第3ポート110を有する三方弁100とを含む。三方弁100の第3ポートは、ブレーキ制御が休止状態のとき第2ポート108に連通され、ブレーキ制御が操作状態のとき第1ポート106に接続される。【選択図】図2
